Buyer advisory in Sydney's Inner West

Independent, buyer-side guidance for people purchasing in the Inner West — search, shortlist, due diligence and negotiation, without the emotion.

Level the playing field when you buy

Sellers have a professional negotiator on their side. Buyers usually do not. Bayline's buyer advisory service gives you local market intelligence, a sober assessment of each property, and a negotiator who has sat on the other side of the table hundreds of times.

Engagements range from a one-off negotiation and auction-bidding service to a full search across the Inner West.

  • Access to off-market and pre-market opportunities through our network
  • Honest appraisal of value, risks and likely resale
  • Due diligence coordination — strata, building and pest, contract review referrals
  • Negotiation and auction bidding on your instructions

Frequently asked questions

Do you also list properties for sale? Is that a conflict?

When we act for a buyer, we act for that buyer only and will not put you into one of our own listings without full disclosure and your written consent.

How much does buyer advisory cost?

It depends on the scope — auction bidding is a modest fixed fee; a full search is a fixed or capped fee agreed up front. We will quote before you commit.

Can you help interstate or overseas buyers?

Yes. We can inspect on your behalf, send detailed video walk-throughs and represent you at auction or in negotiation.

Will you really talk me out of a property?

If the price, the building or the location does not stack up, we will tell you plainly. That is the value of independent advice.
